Privacy policy

1. Information we collect and why

• Accounts (Google or Apple sign-in): Email, name and the account identifier the sign-in service provides — to sign you in and provide deal alerts and subscriptions. If you choose Apple's Hide My Email, we receive only Apple's relay address.
• Deal alert sign-ups: Email address, the route you signed up for (departure and arrival airports), and the date and time of sign-up — to send business class fare deal alerts and to understand demand
• Service usage records: Pages visited, button clicks (e.g. going to a booking site), a random per-tab identifier, and an encrypted (hashed) access IP — to improve the service and prevent misuse. These records use no cookies and do not identify individuals.
• Visit statistics (Vercel Web Analytics): Pages visited, referrer, device and browser type, and country are counted in aggregate without cookies to measure visits. Individuals are not identified; Vercel, which hosts the site, processes this.
• Bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile): To keep automated traffic out, Cloudflare checks that you're human from browser signals (such as IP address and browser characteristics) when you first open the site. A pass cookie is then kept in this browser for 12 hours. Cloudflare's processing is covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Preference cookies: Your chosen language, currency and departure airport are kept in this browser (1 year). They are not recorded on our servers and disappear when you clear them.

2. Retention and deletion

• Email: deleted without delay when you ask to unsubscribe from alerts, or one year after sign-up.
• Accounts: deleted without delay (within 30 days) when you delete the account. See /account/delete.
• Usage records: deleted one year after collection.

3. Sharing with third parties

We do not provide personal information to third parties, except where required by law.

4. Processors (infrastructure for storage and transmission)

• Amazon Web Services (server operation), Vercel (website hosting), a database hosting provider (data storage), Google Firebase (sign-in)

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal information, or unsubscribe from alerts, at any time. Please contact admin@cabinalpha.com.

7. Flight price information

Flight prices are based on Google Flights search results, and bookings are made with each airline or seller. Personal information in the booking process is governed by that seller's policy.
